US: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, we want to take a moment to reflect on the legacy of this civil rights leader and the impact he had on shaping our country. His message of equality and justice for all inspires us and reminds us that we must always strive to make our world a more fair and equitable place for everyone.

As a school community, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful environment for all our students. This includes educating ourselves and our students about the contributions of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We encourage you to take the time to discuss the life and work of Dr. King with your child and to think about how we can all work together to create a more just society. Next week, members from our History Department will host an assembly to continue our education on this important figure.

Thank you for your support and for entrusting us with your children's education. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Philip J. Lazzaro
Head of Upper School
