Harvey to Host HS Hockey Pre-Season Clinic

The NY Rangers will be coming to Harvey's Evarts Rink November 11 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. for a high school training and skills session to get players ready for their upcoming ice hockey season. Players from 14 to 18 years old are eligible to participate in this clinic led by NY Rangers alum and current Connecticut Whale Head Coach Colton Orr. Greg Janos will be assisting at the clinic.

This is a unique opportunity for high school players to focus on a part of the game not often taught. This clinic will feature an on-ice session covering checking, angling, and positioning with Orr. The skaters will have one hour on the ice, followed by 30 minutes of sport specific yoga, and a Q&A wrap up with the Rangers talent and coaches.

The registration is open to all high school players but Harvey hockey players will register at a discounted rate.
