Middle School Campus Life
The Harvey Middle School is located on the northeast corner of the Harvey campus in the Krasne Building. The standalone building contains academic classrooms, outdoor learning space and four science labs that are shared with the Upper School. Students leave the Middle School building during the day for arts and athletic programming as well as for lunch. This gives our Middle School students the best of both worlds: a tight-knit community they can call their own where teachers and students can collaborate plus access to the remarkable facilities of the larger Harvey campus.
An important aspect to the experience of our Middle School students is their participation in the school’s numerous extracurricular offerings. Students are encouraged to become involved in activities that appeal to them as well as try new programs they may not have previously experienced. Extracurricular programs, including athletics, typically meet after classes end, but clubs, chorus and instrumental groups meet during the academic day.
