The Harvey School announces its 12th consecutive year of offering the eHarvey online summer session. This year’s session, beginning Monday, June 26, and ending Friday, Aug. 11, offers seven weeks of intensive study online with teacher support.
The cost of each course is $975 except for modern language courses which may require additional online support. The cost includes a non-refundable registration and administration fee of $75.
Students will receive access to Apex Learning (Harvey’s interactive online curriculum) and Blackboard Collaborate (a fully interactive online classroom). The program features a 24-hour turnaround time for student questions and 1-3 hours each week of online support and instruction from an experienced teacher. The course fee does not include the cost of additional materials (e.g., literary texts and lab manuals) that may be required for certain courses.
In addition to providing a full-year of course content for complete credit, eHarvey also offers a credit recovery program that allows students to earn partial credit. The credit recovery program goes beyond the traditional summer school model by allowing students to customize their course content. Students can "test out" of specific content they have mastered and instead focus only on the content they struggled with during the school year.
eHarvey’s summer session serves both public and private school students who wish to earn credit. Through Apex Learning, eHarvey can offer courses that align to Common Core.
