Three Harvey students were recently recognized in the Scholastic Writing Awards 2018 competition. Upper School sophomore Victoria Gerry earned a Silver Key for her Flash Fiction submission titled, "Whispers." Middle School eighth-graders Teddy Abt and Wendy Lichtenberg were also recognized in this year's competition. Teddy was awarded a Gold Key for his critical essay, "Is Genetic Engineering Ethical?", and Wendy earned a Silver Key for her critical essay, "Preserving the Internet."
Students receiving Gold Keys, Silver Keys, and Honorable Mentions, and their teachers, are invited to an awards ceremony to be held Sunday, March 4 in Purchase, N.Y.
