Meet The Director
Vinny Alexander has over 25 years of experience in education and is a certified NYS Elementary School Teacher, High School English Teacher, and Principal. He has taught for BOCES, Marist College, Mercy College, Dutchess Community College, and Mahopac High School. Vinny currently chairs the Performing Arts Department at the Harvey School, where he also directs our summer camp program.
Vinny has been with The Harvey Summer Camp for the last 25 years. He has over 40 years experience in summer camp programs. He has worked as a counselor, lifeguard, theater specialist, camp medical director and camp director.

Our summer camps offer a wide variety of programs that allow young people to explore their interests and passions.
Week-Long Specialty Programs
Our week-long specialty programs allow campers to focus on either robotics, coding, AI, hockey, cross country, or volleyball.
