Open to ages 9 to 12
Back for another run around the bases is the 2026 Cavalier Summer Baseball Camp! Join Coach Ray Lacen and his staff on the diamond for a week full of baseball fun.
During your time at the camp, we will work on the fundamentals of :
- Hitting
- Infield & Outfield Defense
- Catching
- Pitching
- Baserunning
- And more!
And all this while having fun and making new friends. If you are new to the game, play all the time, or have always wanted to give the “Greatest Game” a try, the Harvey Baseball Camp is for you.

Meet The Director
Ray Lacen has more than 20 years of experience as a baseball coach at the high school and collegiate levels, and as a certified baseball umpire. Coach Ray Lacen brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and leadership to this year’s summer baseball camp. A former player at Stony Brook University, he understands firsthand what it takes to succeed at the next level—and how to help young athletes build the skills and confidence to get there.
Coach Lacen is currently the Harvey School Athletic Director and Varsity baseball coach. Coach Lacen believes the game is built on strong fundamentals and a love of the game. His camp sessions focus on teaching proper technique, developing baseball IQ, and creating an atmosphere where athletes can learn, compete, and have fun. Whether players are new to the sport or play regularly, Coach Lacen is dedicated to helping each athlete improve, grow, and enjoy the game.
