Like our school, Harvey's summer programs celebrate the individual, allowing young people to develop their passions and consider new interests. In a nurturing, safe environment, campers have the opportunity to try new things and explore activities that they may not be able to during the academic year. Under the guidance of professional educators and coaches, campers discover their talents and find what makes them truly unique. There’s summer for everyone at The Harvey School.

Summer Programs Director

Camp Director

Vinny Alexander has over 25 years of experience in education and is a certified NYS Elementary School Teacher, High School English Teacher, and Principal. He has taught for BOCES, Marist College, Mercy College, Dutchess Community College, and Mahopac High School. Vinny currently chairs the Performing Arts Department at the Harvey School, where he also directs our summer camp program.  

Vinny has been with The Harvey Summer Camp for the last 25 years. He has over 40 years experience in summer camp programs. He has worked as a counselor, lifeguard, theater specialist, camp medical director and camp director.
