2023 Day Camp Program
Campers will participate in the arts, sports, science, music, and theater as well as games and camp-wide events. This variety of offerings allows campers to explore different interests while introducing them to new activities. The division of grades 2-4 and 5-8 allows for age-appropriate programming.
Those campers wishing to be in the same group must be in the same division. Grouping requests will be accommodated if possible, but are not guaranteed.

Vinny Alexander has over 25 years of experience in education and is a certified NYS elementary school teacher, high school English teacher, and principal. He has taught for BOCES, Marist College, Mercy College, Dutchess Community College, and Mahopac High School. Vinny currently chairs the Performing Arts Department at The Harvey School, where he also directs our summer camp program.
Vinny has been with The Harvey Summer Camp for the last 25 years. He has over 40 years experience in summer camp programs serving as a counselor, lifeguard, theater specialist, camp medical director, and camp director.
