Summer Camp & Programs for High School Freshman & Grade 9

2023 NINTH GRADE PROGRAM

This camp features age-appropriate variations on our regular day camp offering. Campers will receive a more in-depth study of the arts, sciences, sports, music, and theater. The Ninth Grade will also take weekly field trips.

The six-week session is $4,500. Please refer to our fee schedule below for weekly options.
All registrations include a T-shirt and lunch in our dining hall.
Siblings receive a 5% discount (automatically applied at checkout)
Weekly trips may incur an additional charge

Classes may be adjusted for age-appropriateness. Changes to the schedule may be made at our discretion due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, enrollment, and staff availability.

Meet The Director

Vinny Alexander has over 25 years of experience in education and is a certified NYS elementary school teacher, high school English teacher, and principal. He has taught for BOCES, Marist College, Mercy College, Dutchess Community College, and Mahopac High School. Vinny currently chairs the Performing Arts Department at The Harvey School, where he also directs our summer camp program.

Vinny has been with The Harvey Summer Camp for the last 25 years. He has over 40 years experience in summer camp programs serving as a counselor, lifeguard, theater specialist, camp medical director, and camp director.
