Harvey junior Peyton Forde did a terrific job of representing her school and her Cavalier teammates Sunday, March 9, in the New England Prep School Girls Basketball Association (NEPSGBA) Class C All-Star Game held in Windsor, Connecticut.
Playing with and against the top prep school basketball players in her division at the Loomis Chaffee School, Forde, Harvey’s HVAL All-league and likely All-NEPSAC point guard, did what she does best in the 16 minutes she played. She scored three points, notched four assists, and recorded four steals for the West team who lost 63-60 to the squad of East all-stars.
Forde, the captain of the Cavaliers, led the team in scoring this winter, averaging 27 points per game. She also recorded the most assists and steals.
It’s been a year of great personal achievements for Forde. In addition to her all-league and all-star selections, she reached the career 1,000 -point milestone, becoming only the third player in Harvey’s girls varsity basketball program to do so.
