MS Volleyball Wins Season Opener

In their first action this fall Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Harvey Middle School volleyball team posted an exciting 2-1 comeback win against Wooster School of Danbury.
The first set was a nail-biter with Wooster prevailing 25-22, but the Cavaliers came back to win the next two sets, 25-13 and 25-7 to notch their season-opening victory.
With a team unified and working well together, Harvey was led with powerful serves from Olivia Bailey and Lily Kutai and came back with some strong defense hits from Sydney Boothe and Sophia Kimmel to lead the girls to victory.
“Our Cavaliers are excited to have started the season off strong, and they’re looking forward to the next game,” said coach Angela Pignataro.
For their next game, the Cavs travel Tuesday, Sept, 27, to take on Greenwich Academy
