MS Volleyball Wins Season Finale

The Harvey Middle school volleyball season came to a close Thursday, Nov. 10 with the Cavs edging Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut 2-1. The Bobcats came ready for a rematch but the Cavaliers stood strong, winning the first set 25-17, dropping the second one 25-21, but coming back to take the last set 25-16.

The Cavs played great as a team, with sharp hits from Yamila Jackson, Olivia Bailey, and Aoife Lazzaro. There were powerful serves from Adalaine Hayes and Sydney Boothe.

“I’m proud of each of the girls for their hard work and dedication throughout the season, and they’re victories have shown their progress along the way,” said Harvey coach Angela Pignataro. ‘It was an honor to coach them,” added the coach.
