Inclement Weather Information

In the event that The Harvey School is delayed or closed due to weather or other emergency, we generally adhere to the following guidelines for campus tours, information sessions, interviews, school visits, and other admissions events/activities:

  • During a delay, all campus tours, appointments, information sessions or other admissions activities scheduled to begin before school opens will be canceled.
  • Interviews scheduled to be held before the school opens will be canceled. We will accommodate scheduled interviews at their previously scheduled times after the school has reopened.
  • If there is any delay, Middle School visit days will be canceled. Upper School visit days will start when school opens.
  • If the school is closed, all admissions appointments and activities will be canceled.

We encourage you to use your own judgment and put safety first when considering your travel to our campus. Visits or interviews canceled due to inclement weather will not reflect negatively on a student's application.
