Harvey is a friendly and culturally diverse community with a small and growing International Student Program. Currently, approximately 5% of our Upper School students are international.
In addition to the standard application requirements, which include transcripts from their current school, students must submit at least two recommendation letters (one from an English teacher), and an interview. International students are required to submit their TOEFL scores (75 or above is strongly desired), and a written statement on how they would benefit from a Harvey education.
The Harvey School encourages English proficient students in grades 9-12 from all over the world to consider joining our thriving student body.
Please note that we do not offer ESL instruction, and we require all entering international students to complete an English reading/writing workshop during their first year.
The Harvey School has partnered with the Cambridge Institute of International Education to manage all applications from students from the People’s Republic of China. All mainland Chinese students interested in applying to Harvey should contact the Cambridge Institute at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are ready to apply now, and you are not a mainland Chinese student, you may proceed to our online application.
