We believe that socio-economic diversity enriches our community and contributes to cultivating the strengths of each of our students. While a Harvey education is a significant investment, we try our best for tuition not to be a barrier to entry into our school.

Our financial aid program and various payment options strive to make attendance at The Harvey School a reality for as many families as possible.

At this time, The Harvey School does not offer need-based financial aid to international students.

If you are seeking an independent school education for your child, we encourage you to come and explore our school, and feel free to speak to us about the options available for financial aid.

Financial Aid Review and Decisions

Financial aid decisions are made independent of admissions decisions.

Your completed application will be reviewed by our financial aid committee to determine aid.

You can expect your application to fall into one of the following decision categories:

An offer of financial aid at the level your application qualifies you for.
A notice of disqualification because your income and assets exceed the threshold to quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

When and how does our family apply for financial aid?

Families wishing to participate in financial aid must submit a financial aid application annually by the required deadlines of December 15 for returning families and January 1 for new applicant families. You will need to submit a Clarity application each year to qualify for financial aid; however, Clarity retains your information from previous applications, so reapplying will be even more accessible.

When will our family know if we are offered financial aid?

Will our family receive the same level of financial aid each year?

If my family does not qualify for financial aid, does The Harvey School offer a payment plan?

Payment Plan Options

Plan A: The one-payment plan option requires full tuition to be paid by June 30.

Plan B: Under the two-payment plan option, 60% of the tuition is due by July 20 and the remaining 40% is due November 20.

Plan C: This option is a payment plan whereas the annual tuition amount is paid in 10 equal monthly installments beginning July 20 and ending April 20.

Why did the Harvey School choose clarity?

How does Clarity make it easier for me to apply for financial aid?

Clarity offers a streamlined, mobile-friendly application that can be completed in as short a time as 20 minutes. Additionally, if you apply before December 1, Clarity removes the need to upload your W2 and 1040 by transferring them directly from the IRS. This reduces the amount of information you will need to enter manually and makes it possible to complete the application quickly and efficiently.
