We believe that individual success is achieved through student readiness. Students are encouraged to chase what fulfills them.

With strong student-faculty relationships to ensure that every student feels engaged in their learning, community, and most importantly, themselves.

At Harvey we acknowledge there is no one-size-fits-all path to what’s next. And we also know that academic excellence or personal goals cannot only be measured purely by a test score, but by students thriving in an all round environment.

At Harvey we want to instill a desire for greater knowledge, broader perspectives, and cultural awareness. We believe this will equip them with everything they need to live meaningfully, happily, and successfully. Harvey students benefit from an inclusive community that focuses on strengths and passions of the individual student.

Day Student or Weekly Boarding - Choose Your Path

In Grades 9-12, students have the benefit of joining our weekly boarding program. Along with student independence, this program fosters academic support, social development, and greater confidence within themselves.

Discover Middle School

Our Middle School program leads  students on the right path toward finding success socially, emotionally, and academically. At Harvey, every student has a chance to shine.

The Harvey School Community

Harvey is a  regional school offering both day and boarding programs. Our student body comes from the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Within New York, we enroll students from 100 zip codes, from New York City, to Orange, Putnam, and Dutchess counties.

What I love most about Harvey is that my daughter feels safe, challenged, engaged, and supported here - inside and outside the classroom.

Ronice Latta P’24

Ronice Latta is mom to daughter, Jordan, who entered Harvey in seventh grade. Now a sophomore, Jordan plays volleyball, basketball, and softball, and also enjoys participating in our dance and choral programs.
