The Harvey Global Opportunities in Enhanced Studies Program
A theme-based exchange program where Harvey students partner with a school abroad and collaborate on an interactive research project outside the United States. While working with students abroad, Harvey students also tour the host country and enjoy a homestay with local families.
Denmark: June 2024
In June 2024, Harvey G.O.E.S. embarked on a trip to Denmark to partner with students at The Ranum Efterskole. Harvey students worked in three groups focused on robotics, ecology/marine biology, and film/media arts. Together with the Danish students, the groups worked collaboratively to design and build an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) to implement aquatic data collection and analysis. The entire partnership and project was filmed for this student-created documentary.
