Students in Ms. Nokes' Contemporary Crafts class had guest artist Sophia DeJesus-Sabella visit their classroom to lead a workshop on visible mending on Friday, Feb. 2. A weaver and artist from Hartford, Connecticut, Ms. DeJesus-Sabella graduated from MassArt in 2019 where she majored in fibers. She stayed for the day visiting other art classes to talk with students and share insight about her art career.

Ms. DeJesus-Sabella visited as part of Harvey's Visiting Arts series in which artists visit and work with students.
