What better way to wind down the term than hosting a musical group karaoke competition on the last day before Thanksgiving break. Upper School students and their House advisors who were inspired by the music of the 1980s came together in the Lasdon black box theater to join their voices in song and celebration.

Students, faculty, and staff in the audience often joined in on the singing as they clapped along to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing," Jefferson Starship's "We Built This City," Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," ABBA's "Super Trooper," "Whitney Houston's "Dance with Somebody," the Beastie Boys "Fight For Your Right to Party," Madness with "Our House," Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart," and the classic "The Time of My Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.

It was a time to have fun, laugh, sing, and support the performers as they exuded confidence and good humor.

The Best House Performance was awarded to Ms. M. Visintainer's House group singing "Super Trooper" by ABBA.

The Best Faculty Performance was awarded to the incredible performance of Ms. Holmes and Mr. Seymour, and their House group with "The Time of My Life."
