At The Harvey School, small acts of kindness can make a big impact. This spring, members of the Middle School Kindness Crew have been spreading positivity throughout the halls by placing encouraging Post-it notes on classmates’ lockers. While the identities of the crew members remain a secret, their uplifting messages have quickly brought smiles to students’ faces and added an extra sense of community and connection to each school day.

The Kindness Crew has made it their mission to ensure that every Middle School student receives a handwritten note before the end of the school year. Each colorful message is designed to brighten someone’s day and remind students that they are seen, valued, and supported by their peers.

Some of the notes include messages such as, “You’re doing great!”, “Have an amazing day!”, “Keep smiling! #KIND,” and “You are the GOAT!” Though simple, these words of encouragement can have a meaningful effect, helping students feel more confident, included, and appreciated.

The initiative reflects the strong sense of care and compassion that is part of everyday life at The Harvey School. By encouraging kindness in small but thoughtful ways, the Kindness Crew is helping create a positive environment in which students lift one another up and strengthen the bonds within the Middle School community.
