On April 29, Harvey’s sixth and seventh grade students enjoyed a spring class trip to the renowned Bronx Zoo, where they spent the day discovering wildlife from around the world and learning about animal conservation.
During the visit, students participated in a guided tour of the zoo, gaining insight into the habits, habitats, and unique characteristics of a wide variety of animals. The tour offered students an engaging educational experience while encouraging curiosity about wildlife and the natural world.
In addition to the guided experience, students had plenty of time to explore the zoo’s many exhibits on their own and were able to experience the diversity of species housed in one of the largest metropolitan zoos in the world.
The trip provided a fun and memorable opportunity for students to learn outside the classroom while enjoying a beautiful spring day together.
