Harvey grades 6 and 7 visit American Museum of Natural History

On Tuesday, April 23, Harvey’s sixth and seventh graders embarked on an exciting field trip to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The trip offered students a chance to engage with world-renowned exhibits and expand their learning beyond the classroom in one of the most iconic scientific institutions in the world.

Dressed in relaxed attire and sneakers, they spent the day immersed in interactive exhibits exploring everything from ancient fossils and ocean life to outer space and cultural artifacts.

In preparation for the day, students brought their own lunches, snacks, and water bottles, and many took the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and additional treats from the museum’s gift shop and café.

This hands-on experience sparked curiosity, encouraged exploration, and brought science and history to life — truly a memorable adventure for our youngest middle schoolers!
