Harvey School News

The Middle School spring production was a delightful and fun-filled romp in Neverland with the classic tale of "Peter Pan" taking the Lasdon Stage May 18. The cast wonderfully executed the beloved story of Peter Pan, the boy who refused to grow up, played with exuberance by Sophia Thilo '27. Looking for a mother for the Lost Boys (the lively Emily Bigman '28, O'Launi Ebanks '29, Karen Dey '29, and Henry Leibowitz '27), Peter recruits Wendy (Beatrix Mackil '27) to fly off with him to Neverland, all to the disapproval of Tinkerbell (Amity Doyle '28).

Wendy is surprised to find the Neverland is home to Captain Hook (Katya Stephens '27) and her band of pirates (Matthew Lerner '27, Jacob Pinney '27, Helena Klein '29, Amity Doyle '28, and Melanie Perez '29). Also inhabiting this strange place is Tiger Lily (Emma Mazzella '28) and her fellow gypsies (Sophie Frankel '28, Jacob Pinney '27, and Joe Brown '28 who also played the crocodile), and another fairy (Sarah Fisher '27).

Battling pirates and mothering the Lost Boys, Wendy must finally return home to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darling (Henry Leibowitz and Sophie Frankel), and their dog, Nana (Helena Klein).

Wendy grows up and Peter returns again, only this time looking to take Wendy's daughter, Jane (Helena Klein) back with him to Neverland for the spring cleaning.
