On Thursday, May 28, the Class of 2027 embarked on their Junior Leadership Trip for a meaningful day of reflection, connection, and celebration as they prepare to step into their senior year at The Harvey School.

Traveling by bus to Liberty State Park, students boarded the Statue City Cruises for a memorable visit to Ellis Island and the iconic Statue of Liberty.

Throughout the day, students explored the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration and reflected on the stories, resilience, and hope represented by these historic landmarks. After enjoying a picnic lunch together at Liberty State Park, the class gathered for a thoughtful conversation about the significance of the location and what this moment represents in their own Harvey journey; the transition from juniors to rising seniors.

The trip offered students time to connect with classmates, celebrate how far they have come, and look ahead to the opportunities and responsibilities that await them as leaders of the Harvey community next year.
