Junior Class Camping Trip
On May 31, the junior class traveled to Camp Hazen in Chester, Connecticut, for a two-day camping trip that included rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking. Students also had opportunities to practice archery, solve puzzles, and, of course, make s'mores by the fire. The juniors were led by an excellent team of camp counselors and instructors, with whom they immediately bonded. At Camp Hazen, new friendships were formed, fears were overcome, and leaders emerged. After a very successful trip, the juniors returned to campus June 1, ready to seize their place as rising seniors and next year's campus leaders.
