Read All About it

On Tuesday, April 23, Harvey’s eighth-grade students headed to Philadelphia for a full-day spring trip packed with history, learning, and adventure. With an early start from the Harvey campus, the group made the most of every moment exploring the rich historical landmarks of the City of Brotherly Love.

The itinerary included immersive visits to the Museum of the American Revolution, the National Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell, and a guided Historical Walk through Old City. A highlight of the day was a double-decker bus tour of Center City, complete with a stop at the famous Rocky Steps.

Students brought their own lunches and snacks, which they enjoyed at the American Revolution Museum’s reserved lunchroom, and wrapped up the day with a stop for an early dinner before returning to Harvey.

The trip offered a powerful, hands-on connection to the nation's founding and was a memorable experience for all who attended.
