CPR/AED Training for Middle School Staff

As part of their Development Day activities, Friday, Jan. 27, Middle School staff participated in CPR/AED training, led by science teacher Ms. Pignataro. The hands-on training took place on campus and helped prepare teachers for emergency situations that arise.

The training keeps teachers up to date with their required certifications in these areas. “We spend so much of our time with each other and the students in different situations on and off campus, that it’s a priority to be sure everyone is prepared for emergencies that may arise,” noted Head of Middle School Dr. Brendan Byrne.

Development Day for Middle School teachers also included a presentation regarding exam and assessment design by Harvey learning specialist Danielle Meyer.
