Commencement Dinner is a heartfelt tradition and celebration of our graduating seniors and their families. On June 2, the Harvey Class of 2026 and their families joined the administration and faculty for a sit-down dinner in The Walker Center for the Arts to come together one last time before Commencement Day to share memories, milestones, and achievements.

It was a special evening marked by Senior Speaker Mollie Weisberger. “High school taught us that nobody really has the perfect map. Sometimes the wrong turn becomes the story you end up loving most,” said Mollie. “Harvey is more like a family. I have always felt our grade is one of the closer grades, and honestly believe I would be comfortable sitting in a room and talking with every single person, regardless of how long we have known each other or how close we are,” she said. “One of the best parts of high school was all the random conversations and jokes that made no sense to anyone else. Years from now, those weird little moments might just end up being the things we remember most and end up telling our kids.”
"I encourage all of us to continue to keep an open mind about our futures and never be afraid to change direction," said Mollie. “I have truly loved and treasured my time at Harvey, and will miss so much about this place. But I’m also excited for the journey ahead.”
Faculty Speaker, Upper School Dean of Students Ricky Forde, used his great humor and storytelling skills to encourage seniors on their journey ahead.

Nine seniors were recognized as Harvey Survivors, what we affectionately call students who have attended Harvey for all seven years from grades 6-12. They are: Micah Berni, Conrad Breede, Jordan Collins, Sophia Collum, Ryan Dey, Sonia Espitia, Talya Langer, Maeve Lazzaro, and Cameron Powell-Spruils.

Congratulations to the seniors who received scholarships and awards presented during the evening:

The Val's Pal's Foundation, established in memory of Valerie Hanrahan Saldutti, awarded a scholarship in memory of Valerie's son, Stephen Saldutti, to senior O’Neil Ellis.

The Bonelli Family Arts Scholarship was awarded to Joy Chen.
