Candlelight Concert Brings Holiday Spirit

Candlelight Concert 2022

The annual Candlelight Concert always sparks the holiday mood and infuses a festive spirit ahead of the upcoming winter break. On the evening of Dec. 13, families, faculty, and staff enjoyed listening to the Middle and Upper School choruses perform a selection of holiday classics and other select pieces, singing both together as a combined chorus and separately.

Selections included "My Little Light," "Pure Imagination," "S'Vivon," "Hamilton Women," "Waiting Room," "Let It Be," "Castleton Chorus," "Hallelujah," and Harvey Choral Director Mx. Redler's own arrangement on "We Light the Lights."

Voice Master Class student Indigo Ovelar '23 performed "We Shall Be Known," and Eve Tambor '25, also a Voice Master Class student, sang with middle schooler Amity Doyle '28 on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."

The Middle School Chorus members performing were sixth graders Helena Klein and Senna Lieber, seventh graders Emily Bigman, Amity Doyle, and Lilah Groff, and eighth graders Zoey Berman, Dylan Coughlin, and Beatrix Mackil.

The Upper School Chorus members performing were ninth graders Lena Boyce, Lucy LaGattuta, and Mollie Weisberger, junior Tracy (Siyi) Wang, and seniors Aleah Ford Sussman, Ari Klein, Lucia Falque Moreno, Charles Treseler, and Jacob Weisberger.
