The 2024 Cavalier - the Harvey yearbook - was unveiled May 22 and dedicated to history chair and teacher Jessica Falcon. Senior Annissa Khanna read her dedication to Ms. Falcon, sharing, “Ms. Falcon, you have left an indelible and impermeable mark on my life. You are deeply loved by the Class of 2024, more than I have the words to say,” she said.
As a Model UN advisor, Ms. Falcon taught her students how to “work hard and play hard, to laugh in moments of utter chaos, and turn lessons into lemonade.” Ms. Falcon advised students not to focus on the prize or reward at the end of anything they pursue, but the journey and the people you meet along the way are what matter the most.
Annissa, along with yearbook co-editors Dylan Bazaar and Phoebe Schwarz, then presented Ms. Falcon with her copy of the 2024 Cavalier which carries the theme “You Make It, You Made It” and is designed to reflect a varsity letter jacket.
Students then received their yearbook and had time with friends and faculty to exchange signatures and pore through a year's worth of experiences and accomplishments.
Congratulations to Ms. Falcon and the yearbook staff, yearbook advisor Christina Alexander, and all who helped make this yearbook a masterpiece of memories we will hold dear for years to come.
