New Harvey RISE Summer Enrichment

The Harvey School is excited to introduce the Harvey RISE (Re-engage In Summer Enrichment) academic program this summer, open to all students entering grades 5-9. Students who were remote or hybrid learners during the COVID-19 pandemic had fewer opportunities to develop crucial skills in the classroom, causing learning gaps. Opportunities for exploring art, athletics, and social interaction were also limited, if not absent altogether. This summer is the ideal time to strengthen these skills in an engaging and positive educational environment.

This summer, Harvey RISE will help students:

  • Re-emerge as a social classroom learner
  • Dive deep into English, history, science, and math curriculum
  • Develop writing, computation, analysis, critical thinking, close reading, speaking, and listening skills
  • Become a Rising Scholar enriched by classes in art, music, athletics, drama, dance, robotics, creative writing, and more

One-week sessions begin June 28 and continue through the week of August 2. Academics are offered in the morning from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a one-hour lunch and student choice of afternoon enrichment activities from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $650 per week.
