Three Harvey Upper School robotics teams competed at the Create U.S. Open National Tournament in Iowa over the first weekend in April.

The team of Michael Martirano, Chris Nelson, and Bobby Gross received the National Open Build Award, given to the team with the robot built with the highest quality, greatest attention to detail, and best innovation as estimated by the judging engineers. They finished 3rd in the tournament, making it to the semifinals.

The team of Sebastian Wallach, Sanath Kumar, Alex Breitenbach, and Samson Gelfand ranked 6th, making it to the quarterfinals.

The team of Coraline Chu, Parker Berke, Lucas Cohen, and Wendy Lichtenberg ranked 10th, also making it to the semifinals.

The US RoboCavs will travel to the VEX World Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, April 24 through April 27.
