Find out as internationally known lecturer and substance abuse expert Mike Nerney talks about the scope of the problem nationally, statewide and in the local community. This funny, passionate and thought-provoking presenter will explore the underlying reasons for the increase in substance abuse among teens, discuss new drug trends and high risk behaviors, and talk about prevention strategies. Nerney, the former director of the Training Institute of Narcotic and Drug Research, Inc. (NDRI), has designed and delivered several substance abuse training programs focused on youth. |

The talks were intended to educate the Harvey community and the general public about cutting-edge educational ideas and technologies.
