Harvey Giving
According to The New York Times, more and more people are donating online. Making a gift to The Harvey School electronically is now quick, easy and safe. With our secure online giving form, all of your information, including credit card information, is safely submitted to our Development Office for processing. If you have any questions or comments, please call the Director of Development, Laura Prichard at 914-232-3161, extension 145. Thank you for your support!
The Annual Fund and Senior Class Gift
The Annual Fund closes the gap between tuition revenue and total expenses each year (roughly $2,500 per student). It also provides enrichment programs for students, professional development for faculty and tuition assistance for families. Gifts to the Annual Fund are outright gifts which are fully deductible for income tax purposes. These gifts can be made in three ways: cash, appreciated securities and matching gifts. Donations for the Senior Class Gift may also be made here.
Capital Campaign
Capital Campaign gifts support the Harvey School’s on-going building projects as defined by the Strategic Plan. Harvey’s recent 4-year $10 million Capital Campaign, “Building on Success”, was officially completed in January 2007. It achieved all of its objectives including the building of a Middle School addition and a new Arts Center, as well as establishing a $1 million endowment for our faculty. In addition to making your gift with cash or a credit card, you may use gifts of stock, a trust, a bequest, an insurance policy, or other assets.
Faculty Endowment
The Faculty Endowment Fund is money donated and saved for the purpose of generating consistent interest income for The Harvey School. The Fund is restricted for faculty and staff salaries, benefits and professional development opportunities. Four designated funds are the John P. McMahon Fund for New Teachers, the Rose M. Baldwin and James M. Robbins Endowment Fund, the Barry W. Fenstermacher Faculty and Staff Development Fund and the Salice Endowment Fund.
