Early Music Ensemble
Harvey’s Early Music Ensemble studies and performs European music from the 11th the 18th centuries.
EME consists of 30 student and adult performers who meet during the academic day. It is open to upper and middle school students who play string, brass and wind instruments and who can sing. The group currently includes violinists, violists, viola de gamba players, cellists, flautists, recorder players, percussionists, and guitarists.
The Early Music Ensemble performs at the school’s regularly scheduled concerts and other Performing Arts Department productions. In addition, the group participates in international concert tours. The ensemble has performed in England, Italy and Austria.
